Team Highlight - Madi May
/Q: What do you do at NeUventure?
A: I get to connect students with the more fun side of NeUventure, on social media! Technically I’m the Social Media Brand Manager.
Q: What is your favorite thing about your job?
A: I love the chance to creatively connect with NeUventure students, especially once I’ve already met them and get to keep in touch. I love that!
Q: Why do you do what you do?
A: I firmly believe everyone needs to see the “behind the scenes” version of any company, but especially this one. Everyone is so incredible here and I want everyone involved with NVOWS to get to see that.
Q: What is your favorite Strategy?
A: Honestly, any strategy that makes my husband and I use both of our strengths together. It’s SO much fun to do it with him.
Q: Who is your favorite coach to listen to in the office?
A: Definitely Micah May. I’m not biased though. Not at all. ;)
Q: What did you do before you started at NVOWS?
A: I was and actually still am a wedding/family/senior photographer. Once in a while I get to use my camera around the office too – yay!
Q: What are you passionate about?
A: I’m passionate about being one hundred percent in communion with God himself. I’m passionate about relationships, people, laughter, creativity and freedom. And food. Definitely food.
Q: Are you married? If so, to whom and for how long?
A: Micah May and I have been married for nearly 16 months and couldn’t be happier. No one ever told me marriage could be so great!
Q: What is your favorite question you get in the office?
A: This is actually a question I get on the weekends at seminars. People are wondering all the time if this system will actually work. It’s my favorite question because when I first attended the seminar, I asked the same question. The answer is YES it will, and it surprised me how much.
Q: Tell us two random things we don’t know about you!**
A: 1) I love, absolutely love, to make gourmet desserts, to paint, and to dance.
2) I’ve been bungee jumping in New Zealand. I mean, it was pretty cool. ;)
Q: Where are you from?
A: That’s a great question. I don’t really know what it means to be “from” a place. I lived longest in Minnesota but I’ve lived all over the country. I think I would call Colorado my “home” now since both Micah’s and my family live there.
Q: What's a guiding principle in your life?
A: To KNOW God and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death. I was made to know Him. :)
