Make Time For His Presence

It has been said that one of the hardest places in the world to be a Christian is America. At first, you might think, "Well, I don't see how that could be true,” but consider a different angle.

One of the things we have here in America is abundant blessing. Any time God's people are in abundant blessing, there is a possibility that we will get distracted from pure and simple devotion to Him.  The Bible says in the New Testament that we should have a pure and simple devotion to Christ.

As Christians, we must take time out of each day to engage with God. We must seek to be in His presence in some meaningful way. There is a powerful and a cumulative effect on our hearts, souls, even our bodies, as we spend time with the Lord.

Psalm 91:1 says, "He who abides in the secret place will rest under the shadow of the Almighty." Make time, in an abundant and busy world, for seeking God, so that we can rest under His shadow and walk in His favor.
